Dr Yaron Wu

Dr Yaron Wu

Diabetes Wellness Care Center is run by Dr. Yaron Wu. He is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM., L.Ac.) who has spent his entire life studying and perfecting the art of healing. He started in Beijing where he attended one of China's most prestigious university for Chinese medicine, Beijing University of Chinese medicine.

He has a double major in Chinese medicine/acupuncture and MD (western medicine). He spent two years as an intern at a 3A hospital, which was considered the highest ranked facility of its kind.

In his later years, he became a physician at Great Wall Hospital, where Dr. Zhu Hanzhang was chief surgeon — a man who taught more than 30,000 students during his career and received the highest medical award in China (the Hua Tuo Award). Dr Wu was his youngest student.

He was one of seven doctors working under Dr. Zhu Hanzhang. To improve his skill and knowledge, Dr Wu took five different courses over a seven-year period—opening cadavers for several weeks at a time to learn firsthand about anatomy, which enabled him to give his patients the most effective acupuncture treatment.

Then, for the next 10 years, Dr. Wu studied pulse reading and herb prescription as an apprentice to 5 different Chinese medicine masters—each of whom gave him a certificate that bore his name.

Dr Wu spent another eight years learning navel acupuncture which is based on I- Ching (The book of change). From different masters, he learned how to calculate a person's birthday and Feng Shui to identify any health issues. That is why everyone has a unique health read – you are born differently.

In 2004, he earned his Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) degree from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, one of the first acupuncture colleges in the United States.

Dr Wu has continued to learn new techniques over the years to keep up with modern advancements in Chinese medicine so that he can provide the highest quality care possible to his patients.

His extensive knowledge and well-known clinic successes prompted many organizations to invite him as a speaker for educational seminars and workshops, such as Stanford University, UCLA, UCSF, Apple, Google and Intel, among others. Besides, he has been interviewed on radio and television shows throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. While he has practised in China and Singapore earlier, he is now licensed to only practice in the US.

For the last six years, Dr. Wu has focused his practice on diabetes because he also specialized in stroke for decades (in fact, he owned a stroke unit within a private hospital in the 1990s).

But he soon realized that stroke was only an outcome, without fixing the underlying cause of stroke—namely diabetes—was helpless in long term. Diabetes is one of most important leading causes for stroke.

In the 1990s, Dr. Wu accidentally treated a diabetic patient's constipation and noticed that his blood sugar levels dropped significantly—with much less insulin required for normalization than before. The patient also recovered 80% of his vision.

Dr. Wu learned that diabetes is treatable, and he has dedicated the last 25 years of his life to researching ways to address it—including herbs, acupuncture, energy work, diet, etc..

He has learned more than 30 different courses that relate to diabetes healing over the last 20 years. Until 2004, he had his own style for treating Type 2 diabetes.

The Breakthrough

In 2016, Dr Wu studied modern nutrition diet programs for diabetes available on the market and found Chinese medicine to be the only one that can provide raised metathesis.

After working with people who were insulin resistant, he learned that tension release could help them control their diabetes. Then his program for type 2 diabetes was reduced from six months to three on average.

In the best case scenario, a patient who had been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and whose fasting blood sugar level was 200+ dropped to 99 in 16 days (read his testimonial). After 3 months of treatment, his A1C (a metric for long-term blood sugar control) also decreased from 8.6 to 5.7—and he no longer met the criteria for diagnosis with type 2 diabetes!

The Human Touch

Dr. Yaron Wu is not only a physician. He is a health educator with over 30 years of experience and an extensive knowledge of 3000-year Chinese medicine. His goal is to help you understand your body and make it work for you.

Dr. Wu spends time with each patient, listening to their concerns and examining them in detail so that he can provide the most effective treatment possible. He looks at the symptoms, not just the diagnosis, so that he can get to the root of the problem and effectively treat it.

Dr. Wu believes in educating patients so that they are able to understand their bodies and take control of their health—not simply relying on traditional treatments or medication prescriptions.

He wants people to be able to take care of themselves most of the, but also be able to recognize when they need professional care from a medical professional like himself because certain conditions require it (such as having diabetes).

Guaranteed results

Patients can now monitor their blood sugar levels more easily, thanks to the new technique of putting an instant patch detector on their skin. Many patients report a sudden drop in blood sugar—and some even too low (under 80)—when they are subjected through Tension Release Program. The result of this is that they have to ask their doctor to reduce the amount of medication they are taking.

Because Dr. Wu is so confident with his clinic outcome, he offers a 1st month satisfaction guarantee—if your sugar level isn't lowered in the first 30 days of treatment, you can get a full refund or continue for free until it drops!

Dr Jingjing Zou

Dr Jingjing Zou

Dr. Jingjing Zou is a licensed acupuncturist in California with a doctorate degree from Five Branches University, one of the best colleges for Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) studies in the United States.

Dr. Jingjing L.Ac., DTCM came to the U.S. in 2006 with full scholarships, where she studied math and finance before working in marketing and administration wings of high-tech companies in Silicon Valley.

Dr. Jingjing's family has a long tradition with herbs and traditional Chinese medicine. Her ancestors founded the Bao-He Tan pharmacy in Hubei Province over 200 years ago. The herb pharmacy is still one of the largest of its kind in China. Her grandfather grew up in the herb pharmacy and he was an expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Jingjing was deeply influenced by her grandfather; she collected Chinese medicine books and made soups from herbs as part of her life.

After moving to California, she worked in IT firms like everyone else. However, the stress of her new life and work made her exhausted and overwhelmed. She saw more than a dozen acupuncturists/herbalists, seeking medical advice on how to feel better.

Although Dr. Jingjing's grandfather wished for her to carry on the family tradition of practicing Chinese medicine, it was only during a study trip with Dr. Wu in 2017 that she discovered acupuncture as a career path that suited her perfectly and made sense, given the current state of global health care. The Master, who was impressed by Jingjing's unique skill in palpating patients' pulse and diagnosing their health problems, encouraged her to study Chinese medicine.

Like the Chinese martial art of GongFu, acupuncture also has a tradition. The Master picks out individuals with unique qualities and gives them her name as an apprentice student to carry on their legacy. Dr Jingjing was chosen by the Master in 2017 to study acupuncture under her as a hand to hand apprentice.

In the next several years, Dr Jingjing not only mastered all of the morphological palpation techniques that showed an incredible degree of accuracy in clinical diagnosis and treatment, but also went on several study trips to visit her masters. These were usually highly renowned experts in different areas within Chinese medicine.

She had the rare opportunity to learn from them directly, rather than rely on secondhand accounts of their skills. The trips also included anatomy studies that dissected three gross specimens which advanced her understanding of TCM even further. These illuminating experiences have helped her give patients the best possible care and attention.

After a partnership with Dr Wu at the clinic with manipulation methods, Jingjing began practicing acupuncture and achieved excellent results for pain disorders, stress/tension related problems and sleep issues. She has also seen success treating female health conditions. Because of Dr Jingjing's superior diagnostic abilities, she is famous in the clinic for accurately pinpointing the cause of any given malady.

Besides working with Dr Wu for Diabetes Type 2, Dr Jingjing also focuses on the treatment of chronic pain relief, stress/ tension release; sleep disorder and women’s health issues. She has a particular interest in postpartum recovery as well as scar reduction following C-section surgery.
